What size should I choose?
Measure the full area your chair travels through, not just the desk width. A 36" mat suits a compact home office; 42"–48" covers a typical executive setup with room to push back. If your chair needs to roll under the desk, the 45" × 53" tab model extends into that space.
Round, square, or tab — which shape?
Round suits open floor plans and softens a room with no corners to catch. Square maximises usable coverage for the same footprint and sits neatly against walls or in corners. The tab shape is for desks you roll fully underneath.
Is the glass tempered?
Yes. Every size is made from tempered safety glass. Tempering puts the surface under compression, making it substantially stronger than ordinary annealed glass of the same thickness — and in the unlikely event it does break, it crumbles into small, blunt granules rather than long sharp shards.
Will it damage my hardwood floor?
Each mat ships with clear rubber bumpons and clear plastic discs that sit between the glass and your floor, distributing load and protecting the finish beneath.
How does it ship?
Every mat is individually packaged with Styrofoam protection inside a cardboard carton to help ensure safe arrival.
How thick is the glass?
All sizes are 1/4" tempered glass with a flat polished edge — thick enough to stay rigid under a loaded chair, low enough to roll onto easily.
